In addition to chaplaincy and leadership coursework, four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) will be earned. Our goal is to prepare chaplains who can model the "teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ," and are trained at the highest level of professionalism, in preparation for board certification by APC.
Possible Careers
Graduates will meet the requirements for employment as a full, board-certified chaplain as defined by the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC). Chaplains may choose careers in healthcare, military, education, corporate, and beyond.
