Healthcare Sparks is a program that encourages young professionals to engage with middle and high school students in the hope of sparking interest in healthcare. Because lack of representation in medicine contributes to health disparities, we seek to inspire students across San Bernardino County to pursue health careers.
Wednesdays from 5 – 6 p.m.
We welcome volunteers from every LLU department. A typical day volunteering with us includes a short lecture covering basic health concepts (mainly anatomy and physiology) followed by interactive games with the students to solidify the lesson.
